S IMMO started 2019 with large-scale transactions in the Budapest property market. Through purchasing a nearly 9,000 sqm plot, the company is preparing the development of a new office complex, while its existing buildings are still close to full occupancy.
S IMMO Hungary has concluded one of the largest office lease agreements of the first quarter of 2018 in Blue Cube office building. This, together with some other deals, has pushed the occupancy of the building over 90%.
Ms. Katalin Sermer, CEO of S IMMO Hungary Kft is quite optimistic for the future regarding Budapest office market. The company is ready for an upward period, expected developments of the last years resulted; the average occupancy rate is above 90% – she says.
Blue Cube offices on the Váci út corridor welcomes Novodata, a pharmaceutical software developer company, leasing over 950 sqm office space. Colliers International represented the landlord S IMMO, while Tower Ingatlan represented Novodata / LX Line within the transaction.
Katalin Sermer, Country Manager of S IMMO Hungary – recently celebrating its 15th anniversary –, says that Budapest has become an investment market again, and the economic recovery seems to be continuing. The company has been prospering well and has made gains for the third consecutive year of success, but not by chance – she added. They were thinking ahead during the crisis, and continuously carried out important developments.
