CBRE Hungary Moves to Eiffel Palace in the New Year
December 16, 2014
CBRE Hungary, the local affiliate of the world’s largest property advisor signed a long term lease contract in one of the most prestigious office buildings in Budapest. The company will move its head office to Eiffel Palace in Q1 2015.
The Eiffel Palace office building is unique among Hungarian commercial properties in the way it combines the aspects of historic preservation, sustainability, energy efficiency, workplace ergonomics and innovation. The modern downtown office building - with 120 years of history – will reach close to full occupancy by year end, thanks to its exceptional architectural concept, tenant-focused property management and complex range of services.
“We are happy to celebrate CBRE Hungary’s 21st anniversary next year in a building with exceptional architectural design, environmentally conscious solutions and a high standard of services. We spent a decade in our previous office building that felt like a real home for us. This year, however, we doubled the number of our colleagues, launched new service lines and aim for further dynamic growth. The new office will be twice the size of the current one and will allow us to stay in the heart of the Capital, where we can continue to serve our clients from a well accessible, central location.” – commented Lóránt Kibédi Varga, Managing Director of CBRE Budapest.
Attila Kovács – managing partner of developer and property manager Horizon Development – is happy to welcome the new tenant in Eiffel Palace, and considers the choice of the only property advisor on the Fortune 500 list as a true acknowledgment of the project’s architectural concept. “As a real estate developer it is always the greatest recognition for us when tenants see the true value in our buildings’ beautiful aesthetic solutions combined with great functionality, as well as their innovative technical features that contribute to long-term efficiency. It is even more rewarding when we share a dedication towards sustainability, service quality and customer focus with our tenant, as reflected in our common values and corporate philosophy.”
Leasing director István Kerekes added: “From the very beginning we aimed at filling Eiffel Palace with tenants whose name and recognition is a guarantee for the building’s reputation going beyond being renowned for architectural value and quality. Our agreement with CBRE was a very important milestone on this road. We are extremely proud that the global leader property advisor decided to choose us. The building’s occupancy level - only 8 months after its handover – exceeds 90%, which gives us further reason to be satisfied with the overall leasing success.”
