International Workplace Group, the world's largest hybrid workspace platform with brands including Spaces and Regus, is opening two state-of-the-art flexible workspaces in Budapest. With the long-term shift to more flexible ways of working, IWG is expanding its network to keep pace with rising demand for flexible workspaces across Hungary.
The addition of International Workplace Group’s latest locations in Budapest comes on the heels of the business posting its highest-ever revenue, cashflow and earnings growth in its history and achieving rapid network growth, signing 899 new centres to its network in 2024 and opening 624 new workspaces.
These locations are part of a drive by International Workplace Group to meet the sharply rising demand for top class flexible working spaces in the area.
Set to open at Paulay 52, the three-storey building located in Budapest’s downtown, with well-connected local public transport, and Madarász Office Park within its vibrant, dynamic business area, both locations will offer space for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries.
The Regus centre at Paulay 52 opened its doors in February, offering flexible workspace solutions in the heart of downtown Budapest. The modern office building at VI district offers 25 fully equipped private offices, co-working space, and professionally designed meeting rooms spanning 1014 square meters across 3 floors, featuring spacious terraces and convenient parking facilities.
In April, another Regus centre was launched in the vibrant Madarász Office Park, situated in one of the city’s dynamic business hubs. The new location in the XIII district provides 36 private offices, co-working space, meeting rooms and phone booths. It also includes 2 kitchens, a lounge and relaxation area and parking options.
Additionally, International Workplace Group’s Design Your Own Office service allows companies to tailor their space entirely to their requirements.
The building owners decided to invest in the International Workplace Group platform to maximise the return on their real estate space by capitalising on the rapidly expanding demand for hybrid working.
Research by leading academics has found that flexibility in working patterns offers a multitude of benefits for employees, including enhanced work-life balance, financial savings and health benefits. Employers also reap the rewards of hybrid models through increased firm productivity, cost savings and a more efficient, engaged workforce.
With explosive market growth as companies of all sizes adopt hybrid working for the long-term, it is predicted that 30% of all commercial real estate will be flexible workspace by 2030. With International Workplace Group, partners are able to capitalise on this fast-growing sector, while being supported by International Workplace Group’s unparalleled experience. Hybrid working offers companies a significantly lower cost base with an average saving of $11,000 per employee[.
