The former Divatcsarnok of seven-floors, at Andrássy Avenue 39, was renovated during 2007-2009 and regained its old splendor. As a part of this project, Lotz-hall on the first floor has been also beautifully renovated, its walls are decorated with colourful allegories painted by Károly Lotz and Árpád Feszty. The building’s ground floor and first floor provide space for retailers, while there are office spaces on the upper floors. TulipánTündér occupies 1,600 sq m out of the building’s 6,800 sq m rentable spaces, where the Andrássy Theme Centre will provide a continuous reception space for the world’s scientific, educational, entertaining and interactive exhibitions.

„Considering the past of Párisi Nagyáruház it is a real curiosity among the already historical buildings on Andrássy Avenue, therefore it is an exceptional joy for us that we can take part in leasing the building. The profile of the tenant, TulipánTündér Produkciós Non-Profit Kft. also perfectly suits the location, it is important for the planned cultural exhibitions that the place is easily accessible and popular among visitors.” – said László Fülöp, JLL’s senior consultant.

The popularity of the Andrássy Avenue is unbroken among both office- and retail tenants. Due to the proximity of Opera, luxury fashion brands, the newly opened W Hotel and the constant development of the surrounding area, the location is constantly visited by the tourists as well. After the opening of the Andrássy Theme Centre on 28 April, the Párisi Nagyáruház will be lively again and it will be open to the public.
