FIABCI (The International Real Estate Federation, founded in 1945 in France) has organized Prix d’Excellence Awards annually since 1992 to recognize property projects which best embody excellence in all real estate disciplines. The award illustrates the idea of providing society with the optimal solution for property needs. Prior to the worldwide competition, Green House received two prizes at the 15th Hungarian FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards 2013. This result allowed the project to participate in the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2014 where, out of other well recognized international projects, Green House received the World Gold Award.

The trophy was handed over to Zoltán Linczmayer, the managing director of Skanska Property Hungary. After receiving the award, he said: “We are very proud that Green House was selected as the World Gold Winner. This is proof that the Budapest office market offers such quality office projects which enable world class accommodation of its tenants’ requirements. After the success of Green House and the previous years’ operation, Skanska continues to develop in Budapest; the 26,200 sq m Nordic Light will offer the same proven quality and tenant-focused healthy work environment”.
The LEED Platinum certified Green House is an outstanding project which gathered a great number of prizes and recognition since its completion in December 2012. Its well established international tenants are praising the project for the unique atmosphere, friendly working environment, beautiful garden, the quality of the in-house services and the proven cost efficient green operation. Besides DPI Design, a Hungarian architectural group led by Tamás Pintér, the plans of the project were created by the Swedish architects of White Arkitekter AB Asa Haremst and Anders Svennington. The almost 100%-let building offers a total of 17,800 sq m leasable office area in the heart of the 13th district of Budapest.
