Győr lies on the M1 motorway about 120 km west of Budapest and a similar distance from Vienna, with Bratislava closer still. Audi Hungaria's large engine and car plant has shaped the local economy for three decades, followed by a network of automotive suppliers, logistics firms and engineering consultancies. Széchenyi István University trains engineers and economists in close cooperation with this industry, which makes Győr a good base for technical teams.

Parking is usually easier than in Budapest, but in the centre ask whether spaces come with the lease. If your team travels to Vienna or Bratislava often, an office near the station or the M1 junctions saves time. For short assignments, a furnished small suite avoids fit-out costs.
