The iconic building of Váci út was originally designed to be suitable for disabled workers and visitors with special needs, too. During the preliminary assessment, Access4You revealed some opportunities for improvement that could make it easier to access Blue Cube and to get around the property.

These included improving the visibility of glass surfaces, doors and steps, offering increased safety for visually impaired people. Further developments were made in the common spaces of Blue Cube with the requirements of those hard of hearing and with cognitive impairment in mind. This is especially important, because the customer service of Budapest Waterworks operates here, which is regularly visited by mothers with prams and customers with wheelchair or with other special needs.

Handed over in 2002, the 9,500-sqm Blue Cube also holds BREEAM In-Use Gold green certification.
