Offices for rent at the Buda end of the Lágymányosi bridge

The Buda end of the Rákóczi bridge, still mostly called the Lágymányosi bridge, is home to Infopark, the first technology park in Central and Eastern Europe. Next to the BME and ELTE university campuses, its Class A buildings suit IT, telecoms and engineering firms, from small teams to large regional centres.

Infopark and the university quarter

Infopark was founded in 1996 on land in Lágymányos (District XI) once meant for a world expo that never took place. Its buildings line Neumann János utca, Gábor Dénes utca and Infopark sétány, a short walk from the Budapest University of Technology (BME) and ELTE's science faculties. South along Budafoki út and Szerémi út the business area continues with newer offices.

Office buildings here

  • Infopark A, D and E, large Class A buildings on wide floors, some of them energy-efficient.
  • Szerémi Irodaház on Szerémi út and DBH BudaPart on Dombóvári út, the latter with flexible offices.
  • A serviced centre on Infopark sétány, with rooms from around 10 m², and Buda Plaza on Budafoki út for mid-sized teams.

Asking rents differ from building to building; the older Infopark buildings ask less than the newest ones, and each building’s asking rent is shown in the list.

Transport

Tram 1 crosses the bridge to Pest; trams 4 and 6 terminate a few minutes away at Újbuda-központ and Móricz Zsigmond körtér, where the M4 metro reaches Kálvin tér and Keleti station. Bus routes connect the area to Kelenföld. By car, the bridge leads directly to Pest's southern districts and Soroksári út, and the M1/M7 motorways are close; most buildings have garages.

Compare with offices near Allee, Budafoki út by Buda Plaza, the Pest end of the bridge or all of District XI.

Frequently asked questions

Who rents offices in Infopark?

Mainly IT, telecoms, software development and consulting firms, many of them multinationals hiring graduates from the nearby universities.

Yes. The serviced centre and some smaller buildings let rooms from about 10 m², and a few B-class units on Építész utca are a cheaper option.

Is parking available?

Most Infopark buildings have their own underground or surface parking; ask for the number of spaces per 100 m² of office space.
