Where the city centre meets Váci út

The station's iron and glass hall was built in 1877 by the Eiffel company of Paris. Next to it, the WestEnd City Center mall and its office buildings mark the southern end of Váci út, which runs north through District XIII. Toward the city centre, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út and Teréz körút hold large office buildings in older palaces and newer blocks, while Lehel utca leads into Újlipótváros.

What you will find

  • WestEnd Business Center and WestEnd Offices next to the mall, both Class A.
  • Eiffel Palace on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, opposite the station.
  • Váci út's first buildings: Quadra and Generali Business Corner.
  • Smaller options: FBG Center on Teréz körút, IQ Offices on Vörösmarty utca, Medimpex on Lehel utca, and a serviced centre on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út.

Asking rents differ from building to building; older buildings ask much less, and each building’s asking rent is shown in the list.

Transport

Nyugati is one of the best-connected points in the city: the M3 metro stops under the station, trams 4 and 6 run along the Grand Boulevard to Buda and south Pest, and the M1 and M2 are one or two stops away at Deák tér. Trains leave for Vác and Szolnok, some calling at the Ferihegy stop near the airport. Driving and parking are harder than further up Váci út, though the larger buildings have garages.

For more space, go north along the Váci út corridor or to the Dózsa György út crossing. Also compare offices near Deák tér, around the Basilica and the whole of District XIII.
