Offices for rent at the Pest end of the Lágymányosi bridge

The Pest end of the Rákóczi bridge, still known to most people as the Lágymányosi bridge, is a large-scale office district in southern Ferencváros. Big modern buildings with generous floors and parking sit next to the Müpa arts centre and the National Theatre, a good fit for companies that need space to grow.

A district built for large offices

The bridge was opened in 1995 and renamed Rákóczi bridge in 2011, though everyday speech and many listings still use the old name. On its Pest side, in District IX, the riverside land along Soroksári út was once rail yards and industry. Today the area around the Millennium City Centre, home to Müpa (the Palace of Arts) and the National Theatre, is a growing office location.

Office buildings here

  • Millennium Gardens on Lechner Ödön fasor, a large two-tower Class A building, the last part of the Millennium City Centre, first opened in 2022.
  • Lurdy on Könyves Kálmán körút, a shopping and office centre with energy-efficient Class A offices.
  • Hungária Malom Udvar, a former mill offering B-class loft offices, and Máriássy Ház Loft on Máriássy utca.
  • CTPark Budapest Office Campus on Gubacsi út, further south.

Rents vary widely, from older industrial-style B-class lofts to new Class A space on the river; each building’s asking rent is shown in the list. The smallest conventional units start at about 30 m², and the coworking space in myhive Haller Gardens lets rooms from about 15 m².

Transport and parking

Trams 1 and 2 and the H7 suburban railway (HÉV) stop by the Millennium City Centre, and tram 24 serves the area too. The M3 metro is reachable by tram or a longer walk. Tram 1 crosses the bridge to Infopark in Buda. For drivers, Soroksári út and Könyves Kálmán körút connect quickly to the M5 motorway and the M0 ring road, and most buildings have ample parking.

Neighbouring areas: the Buda end of the bridge, Boráros tér, Népliget and the whole of District IX.
