Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots movement uniting people to protect the planet that has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide. The one-hour „lights-out” event continues to remain the key driver of the now larger movement. Earth Hour aims to encourage an interconnected global community to share the opportunities and challenges of creating a sustainable world.

“We have always been taking ‘green advocacy’ seriously by proving comprehensive consultancy services to our clients during the design and construction phases of sustainable developments and fit-outs.” - commented Edina Hornok, head of sustainability consultancy at DVM group. – “As one of our main services is BREEAM and LEED assessment of buildings and interiors, as well as conducting energy efficiency studies and developing sustainability strategies, we enthusiastically support WWF’s initiative. By joining Earth Hour, we have also committed to turning off all non-essential lights in the buildings we manage, and encourage our partners and colleagues to do so as well. Anyone can join Earth Hour this Saturday evening from half past eight till half past nine by switching off their lights at home and turning off electric devices and equipment.”
