Operating from Prague, Raul will lead strategic initiatives that integrate sustainability, innovation, and value creation across the real estate lifecycle, with a focus on retrofitting, redevelopment, and repositioning of assets.

Raul brings over 25 years of international experience in sustainability, climate strategy, and real estate transformation. He has held leadership roles in both public institutions and private corporations, including Deloitte and EY Central Europe, where he led Sustainable Real Estate Services. His expertise includes the development and strategic repositioning of specialised real estate asset classes, with a primary focus on retail, industrial, and logistics, complemented by a proven track record in residential and living solutions.

In his new role, Raul will be responsible for shaping and delivering transformation- focused, future-ready real estate solutions. He will also oversee the development of ESG services across the CEE region. His mandate includes integrating Colliers’ capabilities across capital markets, occupier advisory, redevelopment, and ESG into cohesive, client-centric strategies that drive measurable growth and long-term impact.

Raul’s appointment is a strategic move that reflects Colliers’ commitment to delivering high-impact sustainability solutions that enhance the long-term value of real estate. His ability to design and implement practical sustainability roadmaps - spanning individual assets, entire portfolios, and corporate strategies - will empower clients to futureproof their properties, improve operational efficiency, and unlock new sources of value. By integrating sustainability principles into every stage of the real estate lifecycle, Raul will help investors, developers, and occupiers optimize performance, reduce costs, and strengthen market positioning in an increasingly competitive and environmentally conscious landscape.

“Raul’s joining Colliers represents an important step in reinforcing our role as a trusted advisor in ESG and transformation across the region,” said Monika Rajska- Wolińska, Chief Executive Officer for Central and Eastern Europe. “His deep expertise in sustainable development, combined with a visionary approach to business transformation, will empower our clients to navigate the evolving landscape of ESG- driven opportunities across CEE.”

Raul is a member of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s (UNECE) Real Estate Market Advisory Group and co-chair of the Joint Task Force on Energy Efficiency Standards in Buildings of the ECE region. He also serves as a mentor and technical advisor to Premios Verdes – a leading sustainability awards platform in Latin America – and lectures on sustainability at universities and industry forums. His long- standing commitment to ESG and his ability to develop actionable sustainability strategies make him a trusted advisor to developers, investors, and occupiers.

“I am thrilled to join Colliers at such a pivotal time for sustainability in real estate,” said Raul Garcia Rodriguez, Real Estate Transformation, Value & Growth Lead, Central and Eastern Europe. “The industry is undergoing a fundamental shift, driven by growing investor demand, regulatory momentum, and the urgent need to futureproof assets against climate and market risks. Our clients are increasingly seeking integrated solutions that combine technical excellence with long-term value creation. I look forward to collaborating with our teams and partners to deliver strategies that help future-proof assets, drive innovation, and support sustainable growth across the region.”
